*Each home is different and some reports take longer to write. We make this effort to deliver the report in 24 hours but depending on the home, it could be longer than this till you receive your report.

A home inspection is a limited, visual inspection on the readily accessible systems and components of a home. During the inspection, we are not invasive and do not move furniture or other personal belongings. At the end of the inspection we furnish a report of all our findings. It will be up to you and your agent, if you have one, to decide how to proceed. We highly recommend using an agent as they can leverage their expertise in your favor.

What standards of practice do you follow?

We follow the Louisiana Standards of Practice (SOP) as regulated by the Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors. “The purpose of these Standards of Practice is to establish a minimum and uniform standard for Louisiana state licensed home inspectors. Home inspections performed pursuant to these Standards of Practice are intended to provide the client with information regarding the condition of the systems and components of the home as observed at the time of inspection.”

How much does an inspection cost? It depends on several factors with the property. Click the rates menu to see our rates.

Can I come to the inspection? You can attend the inspection but we ask that you respect the property and the contents of the home to the fullest extent as we may not be together for the entire inspection. During the inspection, our attention will be on the home as that is in your best interest. It’s difficult for us to talk during the process and perform a thorough inspection. Another option is to arrive towards the end of the inspection and at that time, we will discuss any questions you have and review the summary report for the premises.
